The number for NHS Out of Hours (OOH) service has changed

You can call 111 for free access to urgent out-of-hours care and round-the-clock medical support and guidance. This number is free to call and combines the services previously offered by NHS Direct Wales and the GP Out of Hours service.

Gwalchmai Surgery during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak

We have had to make some changes to our working practices in response to safety guidelines:

Our doors are open and our phone lines are open as usual for advice and medication requests.

Telephone consultations are available with our clinicians and nurse. clinician.

Please post all repeat medication requests in the red box or through the surgery letterbox when closed. You can also order repeats online via My Health Online (MHOL), via email [email protected], or if you are isolating and don’t have access to the internet, for a restricted time during the coronavirus outbreak you can phone the surgery on 01407 720202. Repeats are taking 3-4 working days to process and at the moment pickups are continuing at Gwalchmai or Bryngwran surgery or to a local pharmacy as per your usual preference.

If you need to come to the surgery to collect medication, please have patients an await your turn
